Kauri and Walnut Coffee table.

Made from solid New Zealand Kauri Wood and American Black Walnut.

My Client arrived at the workshop one day with a piece of wood in the boot of his car. He had bought the wood during a trip to New Zealand.

The Kauri itself was to narrow to be a practical coffee table and so it was combined with a piece of figured American Black Walnut to produce this coffee table.
